Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026

This policy explains how Agrinnovations Inc. ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information through:

  • Farm Data Solutions: this website and our cost-tracking software for growers; and
  • FieldView: our labor management service for farm labor contractors and farms, made up of the FieldView office web app and the FieldView iPhone app.

Together, these are the "Services." Where a section applies to only one of them, it says so.

Our role

Our customers are businesses: growers, farm labor contractors and farms. Most of the information in the Services is about our customers' operations and the people who work for them, and it is entered by those customers or by our staff on their behalf. For that information we act as a service provider to our customer, who decides what records to keep. If you work for one of our customers and have a question about your records, you can ask your employer, or contact us and we will help.

Information we collect

Farm Data Solutions

  • Account information: the names, email addresses and phone numbers of the people at a client's operation who use the software.
  • Farm operating data provided by our clients or collected by our staff on their behalf: ranch and block details, crew and labor records, contractor and supplier invoices, expenses, and packout and settlement reports.
  • Uploaded documents: bills and reports our clients send us, which we store and read to enter the numbers into the software.

FieldView

  • User accounts for office staff, crew bosses and supervisors: name, phone number, email address and organization. Sign-in passwords and PINs are stored only in hashed form.
  • Worker and crew records entered by the employer: workers' names and employee numbers, crew assignments, the identifiers of NFC cards used to clock in, start, end and break times, the job and block worked, piece counts, pay rates and calculated pay.
  • Signatures that workers, crew bosses and supervisors give to confirm a day's hours and pay, along with a record of what was signed and when.
  • Injury reports: details of a workplace injury entered on the phone. These may include health information about the injured worker, an optional voice recording of the worker's and the crew boss's account, a written transcript of that recording, photos and signatures.
  • Photos a crew boss chooses to take, for example to back up a count. Location tags are removed from these photos.
  • Location: when a crew boss taps to start the day, the iPhone app takes a single, short reading of the phone's precise location, in the foreground, to suggest which block the crew is in. The app does not read location in the background, does not track anyone's route or movements, and does not read location while signed out. The start-of-day reading stays on the phone and is not sent to us. If the crew boss reports a work location that isn't on file yet, that location is sent to their organization's office so the place can be added.
  • Device and diagnostic information: a device identifier used to keep a phone signed in to its organization, app version, and error information used to fix problems.

The FieldView iPhone app asks for permission before it uses location, the camera, the microphone or NFC, and each one is used only for the features described above. The app works without location; the crew boss can choose the ranch and block from a list instead. Voice recording is optional; the account can be typed instead.

Text messages

If you sign up for FieldView text alerts, we collect your mobile phone number, a record of your consent (when and how you gave it, and the consent wording you agreed to), your replies such as STOP and HELP, and the delivery status of each message. We use this only to send the account and work notifications you asked for, to honor opt-outs, and to keep the consent records the law requires. Our text messaging provider, Twilio, delivers the messages for us.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors that help us provide the messaging service, such as our text messaging provider and customer support. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. See our Text Messaging Terms.

Everyone

We do not use advertising, we do not track people across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our websites use a cookie only to keep you signed in.

How we use information

  • To provide the Services: calculating costs, income and returns by block; screening invoices and checking packing charges; recording hours, calculating pay and keeping the timekeeping, signature and injury records our customers need for payroll and workplace-safety compliance; and producing reports for the customer.
  • To communicate with customers and users about their accounts, their data and the Services, including notifications sent to the FieldView app.
  • To maintain, secure and improve the Services.

Who owns the data

Each customer's data belongs to that customer. We use it only to provide the Services to that customer, and we do not sell it.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information or customer data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only:

  • with people the customer authorizes, such as their managers, office staff, accountant or packing house. FieldView records are visible only within the organization they belong to, according to each user's role;
  • with service providers who host or operate the Services for us, under confidentiality obligations. These include Vercel, Neon, Supabase and Render (hosting, databases and file storage), Apple (notifications to the iPhone app), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages, under the limits in the Text messages section above), Anthropic (reading uploaded bills and reports), and a payment processor for customer billing. If an organization turns on voice transcription in FieldView, injury report recordings are sent to OpenAI to produce the written transcript; and
  • when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, users, workers or us.

Data retention and deletion

We keep a customer's data for as long as their account is active and as needed to provide the Services, including year-over-year comparisons. FieldView timekeeping, pay, signature and injury records are kept for as long as our customer needs them and as long as payroll, labor and workplace-safety laws require. When a customer closes their account, we will export their data on request and then delete it, except where we must keep records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections, an encrypted database on the FieldView iPhone app, hashed passwords and PINs, and access limited by role and to authorized staff. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected customers of a breach as required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us below. If your information is in records kept by your employer, we may need to work with your employer to respond, and some records, such as signed timesheets and injury reports, may have to be kept by law. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will honor requests as the law requires.

Children

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and notify customers of material changes.
